Research Library
The BC Archives research library houses a unique collection of approximately 70,000 books, pamphlets, serials, directories, newspapers and other publications documenting the history and culture of British Columbia. Many are rare and record the first explorations, colonization and development of the province.
Search the online catalogue for library materiel. Some of the older materiel has not yet been transferred to the online catalogue but can be searched in the library card catalogue in the BC Archives Reference Room.
The BC Archives does not participate in an Inter Library Loan (ILL) programme.
