Commercial Use

Permission or use fees will apply if BC Archives or Royal BC Museum material (for example, still images, records, documents, cartographic records, sound and moving images) will be reproduced for advertisements, on items for re-sale (such as calendars, coffee mugs, postcards, T-shirts), for decoration in a place of business (for example, restaurant, hotel, etc.), for professional or business use, for local BC museum exhibits or displays (travelling), or for non-BC museum exhibits or displays.  You must complete a permission form for the type of record you are using and obtain permission approval in advance from the Royal BC Museum Corporation before the material can be used.
