Can I link to your website? Will you link to mine?
We encourage other web sites to link to the main BC Archives Home Page (http://www.bcarchives.bc.ca).  If you wish to create specific links to information elements such  BC Archives photographic images embedded in web pages on external sites or other BC Archives web pages, you must first contact us and request permission, providing details on your proposed usage. We will give you more detailed and specific guidelines when we have seen your request.

Your images are of very poor quality on my screen. Is there anything I can do?
Images on our website are optimized for display on screens that display at least 256 colours. This is the bare minimum requirement to usefully view a continuous tone photographic image.

I think I found a broken link or missing page on your website. Whom should I contact?
It is not uncommon for the links or URLs to be scrambled or mangled by external sources (i.e. mis-typed by users, or mangled by search engines and web page harvesters). If you find an apparent broken link, you will be presented with the Not Found page for this site, and asked to start from the Home Page, and confirm the current or correct location of the page. If a broken link actually does exist, please contact us and let us know.
Please note that when restructuring this site, we also endeavour to automatically redirect old URLs to the new location.
